Hold The Line

Praise the Lord Chosen Women!

May I just say that the CHOSEN WOMEN 2009 PRECIOUS JEWELS CONFERENCE was WONDERFUL! Thank you to all who traveled from far and near to fellowship with us. Thank you to our phenomenal speakers and musical guests -- God used you all so profoundly to bless us all. We have created a page on this website called "Conference Highlights" to share some of the weekend with you that were unable to attend. I am looking forward to next year if the Lord delays His return!

"HOLD THE LINE"

This phrase dropped into my Spirit after a few weeks of hearing unbelievable stories and receiving unbelievable testimonies from some of God's most elect about how they were being attacked by the enemy. What really disturbed me is that these Elect Ladies and Mighty Men of Valor are individuals that God has shown me are specifically due for blessing, reward and shift within their lives, homes, marriages, ministries, finances, health, etc. Yet these are the very ones that seem to be suddenly facing the most aggressive and undeniably harsh, assaultive attacks from the enemy. I see them literally experiencing Job-level onslaughts in that one thing is coming right after another. I prayed about it and suddenly I heard this phrase in my spirit, "Hold the Line!"

Now I have heard that phrase before but something compelled me to research it a bit. I hope today that if you are one of those elect souls -- one of those chosen vessels on the verge of breakthrough but being attacked to within an inch of your life, that this Word will encourage you.

I found that to "HOLD THE LINE" means to take a "firm opposing stand" against someone. I also learned that it means to "preclude a person from being allowed or admitted to a place or space." Further it is also closely related to the phrase "HOLD THE FIELD", which means CONTINUE TO FIGHT!

Now I know that everyone would like to grab hold to the thought that you are next in line for a blessing. But seriously, I am not talking to everyone right now. I am talking to those chosen vessels that have been enduring your season of testing and trial with a pure praise on your lips and the purest of motive, heart and intention. Let us be honest -- that is not everyone. There is more compromise in the body right now than probably at any other time in history. There comes a point at which we must be real with at least ourselves.

I am speaking to the ones that know that God has spoken to you that you have transitioned from that season of trial into a season of blessing, reward and breakthrough, but the enemy is trying to literally take your breath away with the onslaught of attack. I am talking to you and to you alone. I am not trying to pump you up nor lie to you. I am writing today because the Ancient of Days is literally upon my hands and heart as I write this prophetic utterance to you -- HOLD THE LINE!

The enemy is literally trying to get you to give up or somehow forfeit what is coming your way. He is chiefest among all the wicked things that he is a liar. God said to maintain your firm, opposing stance against the enemy. He said to preclude the enemy from entering your place of peace, your home or your mind. God is saying to stand on what He has said no matter what it looks like. And moreover, continue to fight. You know what weapons to use. Do not fuss with your spouse or the kids. Do not take on a bad attitude at the job, business or ministry. Do not stop going to church or Bible Study. Use your 'mighty unto God' weapons. Praise, Worship, Recite and Meditate upon the Word, Speak the Word, Stand on the Word, Sing the Word -- BELIEVE THE WORD! Fast, pray and know that as you hold the line the enemy will have to retreat.

Right now I pray for you man of God, you woman of God. As His mouthpiece I declare the truth of the Word upon your life, knowing that the weapons formed against you are not prospering. I declare that you will soon write me, stand up in the service of the Lord to testify, or just in your heart rejoice over the testimony that God is about to give you. There has been a shift. It's still the wee hours of the morning within your shift -- it's still dark, but dawn is about to break and you are going to look around and see your enemies defeated. God Himself is fighting the battle as you stand and HOLD THE LINE!
