Praise the Lord, Chosen Women!

This week a dear sister and friend, Prophetess Vickie Lee wrote to me of what she saw in the Spirit. I was not just a hearer of the Word . . . I did what it said and God moved for me! As I re-read it today I realize that I need to pass it on to you . . . I need to do my part to IGNITE THE CELEBRATION in you!

Also, please visit the CW Conference page of this website to get the latest information about the upcoming Chosen Women Conference!

Have a wonderful week in Him!

Praise the Lord!

Over in the a.m. today I saw fireworks in the Spirit. Again, as I came to wakefulness at about 8:30a.m., I SAW FIREWORKS! Celebration . . .there is a celebration in the Spirit!

I don't fully know why, but the Spirit says "Celebrate!" As a child I liked 'Sparklers" on Independence Day. I would light my sparkler, and touch that SAME lit sparkler to my sibling's to light THEIRS. I want to light your sparkler today and say "Celebrate!"

Are things perfect over here in this part of the vineyard? No! But when the adversary approached me just a while ago to try to bring worry, I thought, "Yeah, that concern is there, but the SPIRIT said, "Celebrate!" That is the testimony I am confessing, despite what is hovering in the natural I am in agreement with the Lord.

I tell you, my belly is jumping! The celebration is overshadowing circumstances. I believe God! You believe Him, too. There! Can't you discern it? Your sparkler . . . it's lit!  Now, CELEBRATE! Celebrate Jesus! The Author and Finisher of your faith. There are fireworks in the Spirit!

P.S. ~ Now that yours has been lit, light someone else's "sparkler" today!

Grace, mercy, and peace,

Prophetess Vickie Lee

Praise the Lord, Chosen Women!

Please know that I am praying for you and  believing God for His very best towards you. We have all been called by God to have and to live the abundant life. I challenge you to not spend one day living beneath your privilege. Prayerfully identify those things that are hindering your abundant life. Then prayerfully and purposely develop and implement a plan to eradicate them from your life! I admit I have recently re-identified a longstanding hindrance in my life. I know the plan. Now it is time to implement! Pastor Hope Benn's mantra has become my goal -- to 'WALK BIG; WALK STRONG!'

Also, all of us have God-given vision and purpose for our lives. Sometimes we do not fully understand the vision -- much how to to go about making the vision come alive. For that reason I am yielding the floor of this week's blog message to the Chosen Women Ministerial Alliance "Power Team" Coordinator, Evang. S. Christine Gordon!

She works closely with me in bringing the vision that God has given me to life. In fact, when I wanted to give up on everything in my life -- when the wind had gone out of my sails and the joy out of my heart -- God used her to spiritually work His CPR upon me. Through her wisdom and anointing I lived -- and now I am THRIVING! Thank you again, Evangelist Chris! I tell her often but am now making another public acknowledgment of her -- and encouraging anyone who needs some clarification of your purpose -- information on steps to formalize your vision -- or provision for your vision to make your way to her upcoming month of seminars.

Have a wonderful week in Him!

Yesterday I was blessed to attend my niece's Baby Blessing! What a glorious event. It is rare for me to be away from my home church on a Sunday morning. When these occasions come I go with anticipation. I was not disappointed! My sister's pastor preached, "A Decision for the King."

He intricately weaved a message that focused on LeBron James' (whom I discovered refers to himself as 'King') decision to go to Miami. The preacher spoke of the backlash that will come when we make a decision for "THE KING," Christ Jesus. He also spoke of our freewill to NOT choose to live for the King.

The pastor also assured us that when we choose other things (e.g., complacency, sin, a man/woman, cigarettes, alcohol, weed, a job, fear, etc.) over the destiny that the Lord places before us; those things that we choose over God will bring us to a low place.

The preacher further stated that if we do make a decision FOR the King then we are surely making the decision that is best for us. Moreover, we have got to understand that there will be a cost associated with making that right decision. We might have to take a pay cut; we might have to relocate; we might have to endure being seen as disloyal or self-serving; etc. (any of this sound familiar in relation to the LeBron sound bites all week long?) Regardless, a decision to follow the leading and direction of the Lord instead of the opinions of man or even our own desires will surely bring us to a blessed place in the Lord.

It really is all quite simple -- and best said in Duet. 30:15-18 ~ the key scripture from yesterday's message:

See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil. [If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which] I command you today, to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land into which you go to possess.

But if your [mind and] heart turn away and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you shall surely perish, and you shall not live long in the land which you pass over the Jordan to enter and possess.

The children of Israel were about to finally enter into the promise and needed to make decision about how they were going to live -- whether all the way for God or not. At this point in life I personally find myself especially determined to do what God is telling me to do, in spite of what it might cost me. I do not want to miss my opportunity to live and rejoice in my Canaan after going through the wilderness! I am sorry if some do not understand my ways. Like LeBron -- I've got to do what is best for me and mine!

I am sorry if you think I am not loyal because I am not doing what you want me to do nor taking the path you want me to take. I've just decided to make a decision for the King! I am sorry if you feel uncomfortable -- I am holding fast to the standards entrusted to me. I cannot take down to make you comfortable. Perhaps you need to come up a little higher! I am even sorry if you think I am 'holier than thou.' I might not be holier than you -- but I have certainly been made holy by HIM!

Sometimes I find myself wondering, "Lord, will the people think I am immature or emotionally led by what I write?" I realize I can no longer worry about that either. I write what God tells me. I have to trust that the intended recipient gets it and it speaks to where s/he might be.

I realize that so often I write from a place of exposing thoughts and feelings. Saints are often unwilling to do this. I have wondered if I would be ill perceived. Just because I write about how I feel it does not mean that I am LED by those feelings -- I am LED by the Spirit of God. I do not give in to feelings -- I talk about them and expose them for the purpose of teaching and for ministry's sake. I've made a decision for the King!

So to my sister or brother that might be feeling misunderstood or rejected -- remember that eagles must fly alone. You have been favored by God -- though it might hurt. And, if you are at a crossroads, I encourage you to make a decision to embrace God's choice for your life so that you may be blessed in the land that you go to possess. No looking back -- no turning back. Make a decision for the King!

Have a wonderful week in Him!

Praise the Lord, Chosen Women!

Last week I was led to write on the topic of Job. I spoke of the friends that wrongfully judged the motives and actions of Job. Those friends erroneously spelled out their thoughts on how God functions, and on why Job was suffering. May I just say I became a first partaker of the message in that blog?

Just this week I had to endure railing accusations. Boy, do I know how Job must have felt! I mean his friends sat right among him while he was on his bed of affliction and accused him of dishonoring his wife and family; dealing unfairly with his servants and employees; being deceitful in matters of business; and a host of other lies. HUH?

Job must have sat there thinking, "Who are they talking about?!" It is a trip when accusations are brought that are specifically opposite your actions and character. That is what I experienced this past week!

False accusations hurt. Who wants to be misunderstood or misinterpreted? Who wants to be lied upon because someone is jealous or angry? Who wants to be slandered for something that they did not do? Who wants to endure a person purposefully filling the ears of anyone that will listen with negative reports about us because the talebearer is invested in people not thinking well of us? I would dare say, "No one."

Yet, there is something to be gained through being the victim of such an attack. There is another opportunity for the mind of Christ and Godly character to be more deeply established in the life of the falsely accused. A girlfriend and I were talking about the lovely spirit of a pastor whom we both so admire. She spoke about the fact that certain people of his congregation had said negative things against him because he will not take down from his standard. She told me that the pastor knows about the things that have been said and by whom -- and the talebearers do not even know that their pastor knows because he treats them no differently! That is Godly character! He just continues in the way that the Lord has led him to lead.

When we suffer false accusation, persecution and slander there is an opportunity to love our enemies and to pray for those that persecute us as we are admonished in Matthew 5. How can we exercise this command except we have enemies and persecutors?

False accusation also presents an opportunity to experience the love of God through His people. Sometimes God allows people to stand up and declare, "That is not true!" In this instance my husband was led to rise up and said, "That is not true. Anyone who would say that about my wife I would have to call him or her a liar because that is not who she is."  It blessed me that the one who lives with me and most closely observes my life is able to affirm that I am not unloving to God's people. I experienced that Godly outpouring and it watered my soul where one had attempted to darken it.

It is good sometimes to be afflicted and attacked. It helps us to better see where we are in this thing. And you know -- I see that I am safe in the arms of the Almighty. He's got me. I do not have to fight my own battles -- I am His servant; working diligently for Him in His company called 'Kingdom Alliance.' And, I have great Worker's Compensation Benefits. Whenever I am injured on the job He thoroughly protects and covers all my claims. I collect benefits immediately. And not just me; but all who have sold out all to Him and are chosen to serve on His staff. Many are called (unto salvation) but few are chosen (for ministry). In spite of the enemy sending his feeble attack I am here today strengthened, encouraged, smiling and growing in the things of God. Moreover, I am ready to stay in the race and on my post.

Have a wonderful week in Him!
